Messi Rejects €400 Million Contract Offer From Saudi Arabia Club

Lionel Messi has turned down a contract of €400million a year from a Saudi Arabian club, Al Hilal.

The Saudi Arabian giants’ move to sign the 35-year-old PSG player had been turned down by Messi who intends to stay back in Europe after the expiration of his contract with his current club.

The Argentine’s contract with PSG expires at the end of the season and it doesn’t appear he’ll be elongating his stay at the French club.

There’s speculation that Messi might return to Barcelona as the club has also indicated an interest in signing their former captain back. Joining the Spanish club will see the Argentine superstar having a pay cut.
