Raise Humanity Initiative Transforms Lives in Nigeria’s Underserved Communities

Chinonso Okafor Founder Of Raise Humanity Initiative
In the heart of Nigeria, Raise Humanity Initiative (RHI) is transforming lives in underserved communities. Founded by visionary entrepreneur Chinonso Okafor, RHI aims to bridge the opportunity gap and reduce inequalities through skills training and economic inclusivity.

Central to RHI’s mission is the establishment of vocational centers offering training and certification in various trades and tech skills. These centers empower young people with marketable expertise, enabling them to seize economic opportunities and overcome limited prospects.

Since its inception, RHI has trained over 500 young individuals, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to succeed. The impact extends beyond the centers, creating a ripple effect in their communities. RHI also supports training with plastic waste collection, removing 250 tonnes of plastic waste to date, targeting highly marginalized areas.

RHI goes beyond skills training by introducing a cutting-edge job placement platform. This platform links trained talents with job opportunities, breaking barriers and opening new economic avenues.

So far, RHI has onboarded over 200 young talents on their job placement platform. These individuals, equipped with skills from RHI’s vocational centers, now have a pathway to economic independence through RHI’s job programs.

RHI’s impact began in Okpoko, Anambra, where Chinonso Okafor saw the need for economic empowerment. Since then, RHI has expanded to various underserved communities, proving that change is possible, one community at a time.

RHI stands out with its comprehensive approach to addressing inequality. By combining skills training, certification, and job placement, RHI tackles the multifaceted challenges faced by marginalized individuals. This strategy helps beneficiaries overcome barriers and thrive in a more inclusive society.

Additionally, RHI has provided educational support to over 1,000 school children through outreach programs, partnering with 15+ underserved schools to supply educational materials.
