The main attraction, “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” tops the list of the multiverse Personality events. It’s one of 11 categories with multiple nominations, including Yessiey Men and Women of the year, Media personality of the year, and Art Personality.

Despite “Yessiey” being the common moniker for the award, officially known as the Yessiey Award, the origins of this more casual title remain a point of curiosity. Let’s delve into the story behind its name.
The name “Yessiey” stems from the slogan “YES! Stay Informed.” It serves as a platform founded on August 20, 2022, at www.yessiey.com, dedicated to discovering, promoting, and honoring global personalities.
Following its establishment, a dinner hosted in Lagos by different departments focused on outlining the platform’s goals. Among the discussions that evening, recognizing exceptional achievements and fostering excellence in various endeavors emerged as a primary agenda.
The decision to launch an annual award led to the creation of a suitable award design. The director of the Yessiey event, Oluwaseun Olaegbe, conceptualized the prestigious awards design, which was unanimously agreed upon by the attending departments.
Writers, actors/actresses, humanitarians, artists, entrepreneurs, and journalists are the six founding branches of the Yessiey Awards, setting the stage for the recognition of brilliance across various fields.
