An up-and-coming Nollywood actress, Akingbemisola Dorcas Anjola has died after a prolonged battle with ovarian cancer.
The 33-year-old actress had to undergo chemotherapy in Dubai for months after she was diagnosed in 2021.
After she was declared cancer free, she returned to Nigeria to continue her acting career.
When she started feeling Ill recently, she was taken to the hospital. Her health gradually deteriorated until she passed on.
Her colleagues and social media users took to several platforms to mourn her death.
