Female Tech Leader From Nigeria Facilitates Multi-million Dollar Acquisition of Blinkist

Adibeli Nduka-Agwu has facilitated the acquisition of Berlin-based edtech startup, Blinkist by Go1 in a multi-million dollar deal. The Nigerian born tech leader, Adibeli is the Head of Operations and CFO at Blinklist. Despite being a black woman in a predominantly Western work environment, Adibeli who joined Blinkist in 2018, quickly rose through the ranks to become the Head of Operations and CFO.

Speaking on her success and her career growth, Adibeli attributed her progress to her determination and hard work, and also the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
“Blinkist’s culture of diversity and inclusion remains one of the major factors that enabled me to perform at this level! “she said.

Having a career that has taken her across the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Sub-Saharan Africa, Adibeli has acquired the necessary traits to thrive in diverse and challenging professional spheres. She had to spend 16 years in five countries, where she acquired real-life experience and education.

She advises young women to be crystal clear on their goals and what they are willing to sacrifice to achieve it. She also advised those going through one tough time or the other to always seek help, instead of failing silently, as failure is almost inevitable, they should reach out and share their concerns with others.

Adibeli’s mantra for career women going through tedious stages is “Chill woman, chill.”

We hope to see more professionals like her in the startup space.
