The 650,000 barrels per day (BPD) Dangote refinery is set to be commissioned on January 24, 2023. The commissioning of the refinery is expected to ease the supply of petroleum products across the country.
The President, Muhammadu Buhari is expected to commission the integrated refinery and petrochemical complex in the Lekki free zone near Lagos, Nigeria.
The refinery is expected to provide at least 4,000 direct jobs and over 140,000 indirect jobs when operations begin. It is also going to produce Euro-V quality gasoline, diesel, jet fuel as well as polypropylene.
